When my husband and I decided it was time to buy our first home, we were both hesitant and excited. And, we did not know where to start or what was involved. I did some research and found Source 1 so I picked up the phone and dialed their number, spoke with Carolyn Shipp and during our phone conversation she briefly went over some information on buying a house for the first time. We set up an appointment and met the next day, as she went more in depth on the information. Carolyn Was There for Us, Every Step of the Way.
We had sold our home in Keller, Texas and began looking for property in the Granbury/Weatherford/Mineral Wells area of Texas. We were uncertain if we wanted to build or find a converted barn or metal building to finish out for our new home. We contacted Carolyn and she began showing us properties. She was extremely accommodating; she showed us multiple possibilities when we were unsure what we wanted. We would locate a property and call her to see if she could show it to us. She always, without fail, returned our calls promptly and showed us the properties. After about a month, we narrowed our search to finished out homes with acreage. She located and showed us multiple homes for sale. Several of the homes we knew were not for us as soon as we saw them. Others deserved a second look. Carolyn was there for us every step of the way. Consistently Kept Me Informed
I first became acquainted with Carolyn Shipp when she was the real estate agent showing a house I was interested in. Following what turned out to be a very smooth process, I was moving into my new home. It was apparent at that time that Carolyn knew the real estate business. Four years later, when I decided to relocate close to family, I immediately knew that Carolyn was the agent I wanted to the sell my home. She guided me through the paperwork, explaining the purpose of every page, and assured me she would look after my home following my move to 450 miles away. I left my empty home with peace of mind that Carolyn would look after it. And she did. When a water leak occurred in the utility room, Carolyn notified me, had the water turned off, cleaned up the water from the utility room floor, contacted a plumber to fix the leak, and emailed the plumber’s invoice to me. When the post office did not forward my mail as I had requested, Carolyn checked my mailbox regularly and sent all of my mail to me until it was being delivered to the forwarding address. She checked frequently to see that all was well with the house and yard. Carolyn consistently kept me informed of showings and offers. And when an offer was accepted, she guided me through yet another smooth process.
